Between February 27 and March 4, 2016 The 17th Nonlinear Waves 2016 Science School was held in Nizhny Novgorod, organized by the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Nizhny Novgorod State University. NI Lobachevsky. The school presented invited lectures, seminars and bench sessions covering a wide range of different fields of science: modern problems of theory of nonlinear oscillations and waves, nonlinear processes in geophysics, astrophysics and cosmology, physics of extreme light fields, lasers, condensed environments, nonlinear processes in neurosystems.

The school was attended by the staff of the A.A. laboratory. Alabugev, D.S. Goldobin, A.O. Ivantsov, B.S. Maryshev.
