September 7-11, 2015 In Akademgorodok Novosibirsk hosted the VIII International Conference "Lavrentiev Readings in Mathematics, Mechanics and Physics" dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian mathematician and mechanic, organizer of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician M.A. Lavrentiev. The conference is held every 5 years, the aim is to analyze the current problems of the mechanics of solid environments and discuss ways to solve them.
